Dr Michael Ryan B.D.S; D.G.D.P (UK)

I am Michael Ryan. I have owned the Lavender Close Dental Practice since 1979. I consider it to be an enormous privilege to do a job which I love. Since qualifying in 1977, I have seen massive advances in my profession. Techniques which were considered impossible whilst I was training 30years ago, such as Titanium Implants to replace teeth, are now performed routinely. The planning of complex surgery on computer had yet to be imagined. The replacement of the drill with ozone gas was unthinkable. Yet these are the realities of dentistry today. I hope that with my team we are able to offer patients not only the very best technical innovation but also comprehensive and caring dental treatment.

Dr Marius Kaupas  BSc (Hons) B.D.S

My name is Marius. I joined the practice as a foundation dentist in 2011. I hold a BDS degree from the University of Liverpool and a First Class degree with Honors in Psychology from Lancaster University. At the moment, I'm preparing for examinations to receive the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at The Royal College of Surgeons of England. At the Lavender Close Dental Practice I met some of the most friendly, passionate and inspiring people who recognize the importance of continuous professional development and who strive to deliver world class dentistry using state of the art technologies to every patient.     

Dr Linda George B.D.S

I am Linda. I qualified as a dentist in 2009 and I joined the Lavender Close in July 2011 and feel very privileged to work with a very supportive team. I am currently working towards the MJDF qualification and in the long team would like to specialise in implantology.

Mrs Rachel Leigh - Dip Dental Therapy RCS (ENG) , Dip Dental Hygiene RCS (ENG)

Hi, My name is Rachel. I qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist in 2002. I started at Lavender Close Dental Practice in August 2005. I love my job particularly treating nervous adults and children and hopefully giving them a positive dental experience.

Mrs Sorrel Redman - Dip Dental Therapy RCS (ENG), Dip Dental Hygiene RCS (ENG)

Verity

My name is Verity. I am the Principle Dental Nurse and Clinical Manager. I joined the Lavender Close Dental Practice in January 2001. I gained the National Certificate in dental nursing in May 2005 and am currently working towards my conscious sedation qualification. I find my job fulfilling and enjoyable.

Gemma

Hi, my name is Gemma. I am a qualified dental nurse and the Administrative Manager. I am also the designer of this website. I gained the National Certificate in dental Nursing in November 2007. I love my job and enjoy the variety that comes with it and I hope to work here for many years to come.

Carol

My name is Carol and I am the longest serving member of the practice. I have worked at the Lavender Close Dental Practice sine 1995 as a Dental Receptionist. I enjoy the variety of the work and helping to make the patients feel at ease. I have also had many years experience in the dental field. I enjoy my work very much and working with a very happy and enthusiastic team. 

Barbara

I'm Barbara. I have worked at the Lavender Close Dental Practice since April 1997. My duties are quite variable and I enjoy all aspects of them. I love my job and hope to be working here for the foreseeable future.

Sarah

My name is Sarah, I joined the practice in July 2007 as a Dental Receptionist. I have always wanted to work in a dental environment, and thankfully I have now been given that chance. I really enjoy my job and it is a pleasure working with such a dedicated team. In January 2008 I was given the opportunity to train as a nurse and I hope to sit the exam in the forth coming year. 

Rachel

My name is Rachel. I joined the practice in September 2009 as a part time receptionist. I first worked at a Dental Practice more than 20 years ago before I started a family and have always wanted to return to a dental environment. I am thoroughly enjoying the varied work I do and have been made to feel very welcome by the rest of the staff.

Danni

My name is Danni. I am a qualified Dental Nurse at the practice and I joined the practice in June 2006. I gained the National Certificate in November 2008. I really enjoy working in a clinical environment and working as part of a team.

Connie

My name is Connie. I joined the practice in October 2008 and I am a trainee Dental Nurse. I am really enjoying the job and learning the new skills that come with it.
